If you wonder why Manchester United become the greatest football club in the world, here’s why. Manchester United is a great organization, a great company. And below is an example how great organization ‘think’ (from the book Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap… and Others Don’t) about leadership and successor:

Sir Alex Ferguson expects Carlos Queiroz to be a ’strong candidate’ to be his successor as Manchester United manager.
The current United incumbent is thankful he does not have to decide his replacement, but believes Queiroz should come under consideration.

No wonder. I love Manchester United.
