Graham Poll did a cool report on his experience of refereeing clashes between Arsenal and the mighty Reds. He had the privilege to lead 8 of them and testimony that the clash is definetelty between titans. It’s also a clash between titans from my Arsenal fans friends, which is not that big for me.
Every reds fans must remember that war of words between two captains, Viera and Keane. I always see the clip from cable tv and wonder what Keano’s said to Viera.
Well now i know and here’s some highlights from GP’s report:
The exchange in the tunnel culminated in Vieira threatening to break Keane’s legs, to which the United skipper coolly replied: “If you were that good you’d be at Real Madrid.”While Vieira had started that confrontation, all he had achieved was to wind up Keane and ensure that he played fantastically well — so well that I cannot remember giving a single free kick against him.
For me, that’s a small testimony of how Keano is cool and gunners suck for starting the war.
Come on you reds.
