Time for Patience on Reds Fringe

This is a cool article by Stuart Mathieson at Manchester Evening News. I didn’t post my comment there but i agree with the comment below from Colin from Canada.

I mean, it’s just a beginning of a long season and we need to have a big squad. I argued with my sub-ordinate at work last season. I said Chelsea could only win 2 domestic titles with billion dollar spending on world class players, while United won 1 (which for me is the most important thing – The Premiere League). I thought Chelsea should won every title in the universe with the size of their investment.

Ok here’s the original article and below is my favorite user comment on the article:

To be fair, when certain players came along like say Giggs and Ronaldo everyone knew that we had a future star. These players seem to have that added ability that shows right away. JOS and Fletch aren’t in that bracket and most of the posters here demand that if you wear a United shirt, you are just that. A star. The starting first eleven are real quality with no weaknesses and you can probably add half a dozen others to the list. As much as people go on about Rossi, we never knew if he was going to make it or not and the same can be said for Pique, Evans, Lee or Simpson. We have to see them start to see what they have got and all of them will need something special to keep them here in the foreseeable future. Remarks about “the Scottish one and John O’pie” highlight the opinion of many fans that we should have 22 stars on the payroll yet are quick to criticise Chelsea for the size of their bench. There are lots of games to be had for the like of Pique etc. it’s just a pity that some fans couldn’t show a bit of patience with squad players instead of slagging them no matter what the article’s content.

Dude i love O’Shea & Fletcher. They’re cool players and i hope they stay at United.
