Marcus Rashford proves Man United don’t need a No. 10 to be successful

Can we be successful and win games without the no. 10? Good analysis over at Squawka. Hope Mourinho sort this out before being tested by a strong team in Manchester derby next month.

Highlights Against Hull

The lads try hard, throw endless attacking creativities, and show never give up attitude against Mike Phelan’s stubborn 10 man defence Hull. At the end, our young Marcus Rashford delivered the goal at “Fergie time”. What a game.

It’s hard to pick a man of the match but Dailey Blind was again calm and composed protecting De Gea while his partner Eric Bailly show again why Mourinho signed him. Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia were outstanding at full backs. Rooney and Ibrahimovic had a decent game as well.

Where are LVG’s Manchester United Youngsters Now?

LVG claimed that he always give youth a chance in whichever clubs he work for. He did give a dozen youngsters their debut on red shirt in the past couple of seasons he was in charge though. Now Jose Mourinho is the boss, where are they now?

The Guardian have the list.

Me personally, I believe that Mourinho will do what he needs to do.

Mourinho to Young Players: Your Day Will Come

With a group of talented youngsters like Luke Shaw (21), Fosu Mensah (18), Eric Bailly (22), Marcus Rashford (18), Martial (20), Lingard (23), Pereira (20), Memphis Depay (22) and Paul Pogba (23) currently in the club’s wage bill, some questioned (probably except Shaw, Bailly and Pogba) Mourinho’s plan with our young players.

I’d say, Mou’s not dumb. He sees talent when he sees talent and will use them to win matches and bring home trophies.

What the youngsters need to do is to keep showing what they are capable of and wait for their time to come.
