Blackpool 2 – 3 Manchester United

Berbatov helped us beat Birmingham City by scoring his third hat-trick of this season. He joined the likes of Ruud Van Nistelroy & Alan Shearer as players that ever scored 3 hat-tricks in a season. Giggsy goal was also superb, glad he’s only 37 now.

Will The Club Keep Berbatov?

What does a salary of £30.75 million get you? You would hope it would get you some type of job security, but in the case of Dimitar Berbatov, there are questions as to whether the Manchester United Forward will be resigned by the club at the end of his contract. Berbatov was picked up by the United in 2008.

There has been speculation that Sir Alex Ferguson may not extend his contract. As such, interest in the Forward has been shown from Jeventus and Bayern Munich. Berbatov made his feelings clear on the matter, stating that “I fought to have a chance to play for United and now I can only go down if I leave. Why I should do this? It would be better to retire.”

Berbatov has been having a solid season so far. We are not even at the half way point of the season and he has already scored 11 goals. He had 12 for all of the 2009-2010 campaign. He had five goals against Blackburn and three against Liverpool earlier in the season, both resulting in United wins.

Is it possible that the Untied will not resign Berbatov? If I were a gambling man, such as those that play on poker sites for US players, I would say no. This very well could be a ploy by Sir Alex to keep Berbatov’s production high. Berbatov very well could be on pace for a exceptional year and unless the United can get a really good deal for Berbatov, what would the value be in letting him go?

Of course, there is still plenty of football left to play this season and if there is a fire behind these smoke signals, we will hear about it soon.

Berbatov scored a hatrick against bitter rival today at Old Trafford. His first for our club. Good lad, really happy for him. What’s so good is that, when you see Berbatov, you just don’t know the ball will gets in. Brilliant stuff as always by the Bulgarian.

Anyhow, i am not sure how long these videos will stay on the internet until the EPL police take them down. So, enjoy while it last!

First goal:
Horrible defending by frustrated bitter so-called Liverpool star, brilliant lazy header from Berba.

Our Goals, So Far…

The squad is currently on pre-season tour. It’s yet finished, but the lads have manage to score several good goals. Here are my favorites:

- Dimitar Berbatov. 1-2 vs Kansas Wizards.

The laziest and the coolest penalty i’ve ever see. At the end we lost 1-2 to Kansas Wizards, but heck, that was a brilliant goal by our Bulgarian man.

- Tom Cleverley. 5-2 vs MLS Allstars.

Started from not so perfect pass by Darren Fletcher, but Cleverley skillful setup and finish make it happen. Great instinct by the lads, this will add more headache for Sir Alex to find our 25 man this season.

- Gabriel Obertan. 1-0 vs Philadelphia Union.

Great pass from Welbeck and simple finish by the Frenchman.

- Federico Macheda. 5-2 vs MLS All Stars

This was his first goal of the match. The opponent lose his focus for less than 1 minute, and Kiko kicks in. Fast, brilliant! Can’t wait to see him in our first team (hopefully) this upcoming season.

- Dimitar Berbatov. 3-1 vs Celtic.

Quick & skillful goal by Berba.

- Darron Gibson. 5-2 vs MLS All Stars

Gibbo’s cracking free kick, brilliant shooter as always.

- Javier Hernandez. 5-2 vs MLS All Stars.

Chicharitooooooooo!!! What is better than scoring on your first game at the new club? If you’re asking where i will put my money in, no extra pressure to our Mexican lad, but i’ll go to online sportsbook and bet that he will be our star this season.

FA Cup 5th Round!

It was a nervy win, but we still keep our FA cup chances alive courtesy of great play by Carlos Tevez and goals from Paul Scholes & Dimitar Berbatov.

Nice to see Tosic, Fabio Da Silva & Eckersley get their debut although it’s a shame to see Fabio & Wellbeck taken out injured. Let’s just hope it’s not too serious though. Another job well done, FA Cup 5th round here we come.
