This become news only because Sir Alex once said that the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United is not out of question (at least media said that). Then our gaffer echoed with Madrid boy’s ‘in the future who knows” thing.

This might set expectation for some United fans, but truth is, i am not impressed. I love Ronaldo still, because of what he’s done to the club and all his good words for his former club, my beloved Manchester United, but thinking he’s ever ‘going back’ is just ridiculous.

Then today Daily Mirror revealed that Ronaldo ruled out a return to his former employer:

“Yes, of course I miss Manchester but no, I don’t think I’ll be going back.”

Of course. Good luck Ron!

I didn’t watch the game because i was stuck at work (Sunday night, what a great time to work). But i knew when we were winning, his double make Ronaldo league’s top scorer and that young lad Macheda scored our winning goal. This excerpt from Red Rants might best explain last night game and our season so far.

What happens between now and May could be anyone’s guess; United could still squander this from here. But the rush of confidence and belief that a late goal like this can bring is hard to rival any other emotion. United were in dire need of a win; a second wind to make the last lap of this title race. They were the bleeding giant that, by Sunday, had perhaps bled too much to survive. But the giant refused to die and Macheda’s goal made sure of that. Villa were stricken, and rightly so, like a fallen amateur boxer who should have killed off his opponent when he was down and out.

Porto is next in the Champions League.

Thin Score but a Win

We beat Everton 1-0 at Old Trafford courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty at the end of first half. I had a bad headache last night i didn’t watch the 2nd half so i don’t have anything to report.

However, we continue to lead the Premier League table, with 5 points clear and same game played with 2nd place Chelsea and 3rd place Liverpool. Both enemies will play each other tonight at Anfield and i hope they both lost the game (it happened in my dream last night).

No silverwares are handed in February so we need to keep on winning. West Ham away next, bring Zola on!

Golden Ball-Boy That Scores

Manchester City has warned because the behavior of their ball boy by referee Howard Webb at derby game last weekend. The want to be a hero ball boy throw a ball that was out of play ‘at’ Ronaldo, instead of ‘to’. Later on Ronaldo got sent off after he hands the ball instead of heads it.

But the idiocy wouldn’t match this video below. A frustrated ball boy in Brazil put the ball behind the net and the referee decided to give the goal.

Lol.
