Carling Cup Semi Final Draw & ex-Keano Team Match

fixtures December 6th, 2008

The draw result is out and we will face Derby County away from home. The match will will be played in the week commencing 5 January. The second leg will be played week commencing 19 January in Old Trafford.

On the Premier League next fixture, we will face ex-Keano team on late kick off tonight. Doesn’t matter whether Keano’s exit ahead of Sunderland visit to Old Trafford will impact their team morale, because we need to win and surely can’t afford to drop more points.

Come on you Reds!

Carling Cup Semi Final, Here We Come

match results December 4th, 2008

Carlos Tevez has shown what he made of by scoring 4 and provide 1 assist for Luis Nani. We beat Paul Ince’s Blackburn Rovers 5-3 at Old Trafford today and make sure we progress to the semi final of Carling Cup.

It was a good match, attacking football Manchester United style, although in the last 10 minutes, the lads seem to lost concentration and conceded 2 before Tevez killed of the game by scoring his 4th of the night and 5th for the team.

There you go, come on Carlitoz!

Carling Cup Quarter Final Against Rover

fixtures November 15th, 2008

carling-cup Carling Cup Quarter Final Against Rover The Carling Cup Quarter Final draw result is out and we will face Incey boys at Old Trafford at the beginning of December. I bet it will be another tough game but I think we have a good chance to reach the last 4.

Complete draw results:

  • Stoke City v Derby County
  • United v Blackburn Rovers
  • Burnley v Arsenal
  • Watford v Tottenham Hotspur

So we still are a contention in 5 competitions to go (we’ve lost UEFA Super Cup to Zenith and won the Charity Shield beating Pompey) and will be important for Sir Alex to continue giving youngsters more football.

In enemy news, Liverpool and Chelsea can focus their effort to ‘more important tournaments’ like the FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League as they were both out last week from the cup. But still, no ‘quadruple’ ambition for them this year (like always… hahah).

Anyway, in the next few hours, we will face Stoke City. Prepare for their bombing throw ins, and any other secret weapons. But I think we have a good chance to win. My prediction is 3-1 to United.

Come on you Reds!

A Glimpse of Carling Cup Win and a Boro Thuggery

fixtures, players September 24th, 2008

That boy Ronaldo mark his come back to United’s first team with a goal. The combination of youngsters and experience players made SAF’s team more promising than ever. It’s nice to see promising youngsters Rafael Da Silva, Darron Gibson, Rodrigo Possebon and Danny Wellbeck all get their first starting line up, among experienced players like Giggs, Brown, Vidic and O Shea. The attacking display forced errors from the Boro’s back players, Giggs & Nani didn’t waste the chance and score 1 goal each to claim a 3-1 victory.

However, my mind can’t rest, as the win last night was shadowed by Rodrigo Possebon’s injury horror (Pogatetz you’re a f**king thug animal!). I hope the injury is not that serious and the talented lad can continue his career and contribute to the future of Manchester United.

All in all, i’m glad to see our side win.

Come on you reds!
