To be honest i wasn’t excited with the game at Rome. I didn’t even watch the game, whether it was Live and its excerpts. But i do feel sad to hear that the violence in Italian football continues and another Reds Fans became victims. Hope all is well soon.
But woot! Sunday clash is likely to happen soon. Every Reds fans who watched the game against Liverpool know what is waiting as soon as the team arrive at Anfield. The long history of the Liverpool Football Club that generates super cool fans is no doubt will bring even to the best football squad in the planet to face ‘nightmare’.
Anyhow, ahead of the big game, the world wide web have some cool things to say:
1. Sir Alex Ferguson cannot understand why Rafa Benitez seems to be under so much pressure at Liverpool (Sky Sports).
2. SIR Alex Ferguson expects to see 11 lions and no lambs in his Manchester United side on Sunday for the match he regards as bigger than any other (Manchester Evening News).
3. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been handed a two-match touchline ban and a £5,000 fine by the Football Association (Team Talk).
4. Unbelievable – just when you thought the FA were all talk and no action, for the first time ever they actually get a decision right (ManUtdPies as regards of the appointment of Don Capello).
5. Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed he attempted to beat Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez to the signing of Fernando Torres (Sky Sports).
6. Sir Alex Ferguson has warned Fabio Capello that he will be under the most intense pressure when he begins work as the new England manager (4 The Game).
7. Owen Hargreaves is expected to return to the United squad for the game against Liverpool this weekend (Reds Issue).
8. United will be hoping to add Steven Gerrard’s woes by pinching another three points off the Scouse as happened the last time the Reds played at Anfield. The man who did the damage last season was our very own artful Irish dodger, big John O’Shea, who stole in to score the only goal of the game which secured a somewhat fortuitous late victory and a very welcome three points (A Kick in The Grass).
9. And the coolest thing that i can find in the internet today was from ManUtdPies remembering our last year’s win against Scousers, check out the video below. Come on you REDS!
