Manchester United VS Roma, Again!

For 2 years in a row we face AS Roma at quarter final in the Champions League. This will be our 6th games against them in the last couple of years. In my view, after seeing Totti & Co. humiliating Real Madrid and their in-form regional performance in Italian League, ideally they will be the first team to avoid in the next stage. Of course.

Anyhow, in the last 4 meetings, our record were cool. We won 2, drawn 1 and lost 1. We scored 10 they score 4. But, i will not push our luck, and i don’t expect another 7-1 trash. Somehow, if we perform like we did with Lyon and Portsmouth, then we shall say goodbye to another potential European silverware. And we should wait until next year, hmm, do SAF still get the time? Time will tell, so let’s play.

1. Arsenal v Liverpool
2. AS Roma v Man Utd
3. Schalke 04 v FC Barcelona
4. Fenerbahce v Chelsea

And the semifinal scenario would be:

1 Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea
2 Schalke/Barcelona v AS Roma/Man Utd

So we shall overcome Roma and Barcelona to get to the final. Of course we have the chance, if we play as how as we should play. But for now, we must focus on tomorrow’s game agains Derby County. Potentially, it’s Ben Foster’s debut. Hope the fans will see club’s future.
