Sneijder: Mourinho will coach Manchester United Someday

The Inter Milan and Dutch international midfielder told the News of the World:

English football excites him (Mourinho) more than any other football in Europe and I don’t think it’s a question of if he returns to the Premier League but when.

I think it’s written for him to take over Manchester United in a few years. One great manager will retire and another one will take over.

But if he was offered the England job alongside the Manchester United one in a few years I am sure he would take it. He likes the daily interaction with players too much to take on an international job alone.

Jose and I became good friends at Inter and, from conversations we had, I know he thinks he could really do something with the England players.

When he takes the United job, the English FA must offer him the national post as well, and from conversations we have had I think he would take it, in fact I know he would.

Not sure about that, Sneijder. He’s a great manager yes, but unsure if he can do it “the Manchester United way” (but in the future, who knows).

Frank Lampard believes Rio Ferdinand deserves his chance to captain England, and so does Rooney (but later)…

”Wayne is our best player, especially at the moment, and he is the one that can really make things happen for us off the cuff. To burden him with it [the captaincy] at that age would have been the manager’s decision, but I think it is a good idea not to.

I think he will be England captain one day for sure. This has brought up a whole talk about England captaincy but you need a few captains on the pitch.”

Sir Alex is back to work and the media is pushing him more about another possible departure from the team. This time is No.2 Queiroz. Oh no. But it’s SAF, i can relax.
Chelsea has launched a new redesign of their website which i think is cool. Although, that URL complex structure annoys me.

Bayern Chief back SAF

Despite the tension that rose between Manchester United and Bayern Munich in case of Owen Hargreaves last year, the chairman of German giants, Karl Heinz Rummenigge has reportedly slams the way that Spanish club’s effort to lure Ronaldo away from Old Trafford.

Furthermore the German boss said:

“This is a situation that only concerns Manchester United, but I would like to see Ronaldo stay at the club for the benefit of everyone.”

“I am not worried about the case because the rules are clear and Manchester United has a very strong contract with the player for the next four years,” he said.

“Besides, I know enough about Alex Ferguson to know that if he says no, then that means no.

Like one of reader comments, i also starting to like the Germans .

Oh, in other news. I think ex Reds ‘sold and failed’ Paul Ince should concentrate on his new job rather than thread useless comments to the press about his ex club.

Top Fixtures Ahead of Reds

Some quick updates.

I don’t watch the European Cup because by far i feel i don’t have to. I do watch the France demolition of Edwin’s Orange 4-1, which i tip to beat Portugal if both team has ever meet at later stage. Dude Holland rocks. But by far that’s the only game i watch. Maybe i will watch more game later as the competition has heaten up to reach the quarter final. I don’t know, let’s see if i can find the time (it’s later night here in Bali).

Anyhow next season EPL fixtures is already out. Reds will open the game against Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle, then followed by 2 last season’s big four teams away from OT in the first 5 games.

In other news, you might want to check these news; SAF to quit Reds if The Glazers sell Ronaldo without his permission and we have the chance to lose Queiroz to Portugal national team. Then who will manage the team then? Well, Big Phil can do it if the price is right, as his appointment as being the next Chelski boss has set him to buy everyone. Also, after losing his regular left back spot at Reds to become first choice at Real Madrid, Gabriel Heinze has become unreal.

Anyway, find next season’s full fixtures here. It’s tough, we can’t afford a kind of last year’s slow start.

Let Ronaldo Go

Ronaldo has reportedly refuse to speak with our boss whom cut short his holiday to fly to Swiss to talk with Portuguese winger after long staggering season that ends with double silverware. This might triggered by SAF’s comment in the media lately that he prefer to see Ron’s rot than to sell him to Real Madrid. I do think it’s rude but i guess it’s pointed to Roman Pinnochio Calderon instead of Ron.

However, I think this is ridiculous. How can a player and his manager (read: his mentor) speak each other through media when they have the opportunity to speak face to face? I think SAF (with a great help of Queiroz) ) was the one who help the lad to be the best player in the world for encouraging him to stay at a great football team after he tinker Wayne Rooney at last World Cup. Damn, how can he do that to SAF?

Eventhough noone seems to see him talk with live audience as evidence to his words, but his ‘the future you’ll never know’ (i saw him saying that over and over again in live TV) attitude has made me lost my appetite.

This is Manchester United Blog not Cristiano Ronaldo blog, and i’m a Man Utd fan with or without Ronaldo. Deep down my heart, even if i still want to see Ron in Reds next season (of course, he’s the best player in the planet goddammit), but if he goes, i sincerely hope that we can meet Real Madrid in the next Champions League and beat them.

Let him go while there’s Real Madrid who stupid enough to pay that huge amount of money to the lad. Let him gets richer for a while and regret his decision when he gets older. Let’s buy more future Ronaldos and win more titles. Then the Reds legacy goes on, as the best football club in the world.

Reds no. 2 feels Madrid’s outspoken courting of his Portuguese compatriot is about more than their wish to get Ronaldo, claiming it is part of the long history and rivalry between Portugal and Spain.

Queiroz also claim that

“It’s being done in a manner to distract the Portugal team, at the height of their preparations for the European Championships,”

Well it’s a super freaking big attack from our 2nd boss to the Spanish club.

Now to Colombus, claiming someone nationality sounds too strange to me. So I decide to check Christopher Colombus’s Wikipedia page, and found no clear indication whether the Admiral of the Ocean Sea is either Portuguese or Spanish (or even Italian).

The best related story to Colombus that i could find is this:

He’s so cool and it is worth to have somebody like him representing your nation.
Ronaldo is a Portuguese and plays for Manchester United.
Real Madrid is weird.
