Draw at Villa Park
match results November 23rd, 2008
Martin O Neil boys had successfully make our ‘60 million twin strikers USELESS!
Ok, it’s not that bad, it was a good 1 point. I feel we’re lucky not to concede, especially in the last 10 minutes.
Again, we waste chances, just wonder if we can afford more.
Enemy News Ahead of Our Game
match results November 23rd, 2008
Just find this news ecstatic. Gooners beaten by Citeh 0-3, while Chelski and Scousers both drawn nil-nil at their home.
Now the future is in our hands. If we lose, maybe SAF is right, Villa can break the top four. But no guarantee though, as well as our chance to retain the Premier League crown. Hard games still ahead of us, but if we able to beat Aston Villa today, future jobs will be much easier.
Heck. Come on you Reds!
Beaten by Wounded Gunners
match results November 8th, 2008
It’s not really a match report because I think most of you has watched the game and know that we lost the game to Arsenal 1-2.
Arguably, the games against the other ‘big four’ was our key to Premier League trophy. Last season, we beat Liverpool, drawn to Chelsea and Arsenal away. Then beat them all at home. Now look at us this year. We lost at Anfield and Emirates, and drawn at Stamford Bridge. I mean, we could slip at away games to any team in the Premier League right? So I don’t think we can afford to lose these games.
Of course it’s not the end of the world and there’s always down time in a long season. But I think Rio should be our captain, the club could fasten Gary Neville’s retirement and send him to coaching school. We’ve conceded 6 goals already this week, I’m pessimist things could get any better if Gary is at our right back. Although I see a new hope in Rafael Da Silva, I think we missed Wes Brown contribution and Carlos Tevez at front greatly this season.
I’ll bet our performance by far won’t brings us any silverware this season. I hope I’m wrong.
What a Lazy Lovely Bit of Skill
match results October 30th, 2008
Dimitar Berbatov kept the ball in play and beat his opponent with a super tricky little flick to set up Ronado’s second goal of the night. It was terrific-that’s-what-he-paid-for-moment from Berbatov and shall live long in my mind. We hammered the Hammers 2-0 which is a good result for us ahead of the game against on fire Hull this weekend, again at Old Trafford.
Come on you Reds!
Poor United Draw Everton Away
Support, match results October 25th, 2008
So the winning streak in all competition has to stop to 7 as we draw 1-1 against Everton today.
It’s always hard if every team you play want to win against you and that’s what we face today at the Goodison Park. But there are no excuse because we deserve tough matches throughout the season on every occasion, because remember we’re the f**king English and European Champions.
After so many noises ahead of the game we could only draw 1-1 against the team that very recently could only play good at first halfs. But they surely super motivated and very much improved at the second half, including Tim Howard, Phil Neville and ex reds injury prone Louis Saha. We’ve been poor and waste so many opportunities and they’ve been good enough to upset our rythm.
Of course it’s a long way to go but we already lost 5 points on our visit to Merseyside team after losing against the kop in September and draw against Everton (I wonder if those points could cost us our aim to get the English Premiere League hattrick). But I guess it’s at least harder to march through the first half of season since other top four, according Hull doesn’t seem to slowing down. But who knows anyway.
Special message to Rooney: Calm down Rooney, you’re the best among Red fans! Next game will be much better. We could win another 7 (hope to win more) start from the next game against West Ham in Old Trafford!
Come on you Reds!
Man Utd 3 - Celtic 0
champions league, match results October 23rd, 2008
I thought I posted this already. Heck. So you probably know already that Berbatov scored 2 and Wayne Rooney scored 1 right?
Ok. I must admit. I didn’t watch the match. I was in a transition of changing cable TV provider. So i have to watch the game through local free TV which is SUCK!
Yes it sucks because of the following reasons:
- They didn’t broadcast our Champions League game against Celtic last night. Instead, they play Juventus vs Real Madrid game. Call me bias, but how could they pick to broadcast a game which anticipated by (maybe, the stadium was so dark from my TV) only third half full home crowd. They picked that instead of full pack Old Trafford. How moronic is that. Well they must have reasons anyway. Probably stupid reasons. But I don’t know.
- They dubbed the commentary with local language. Ahh… you just don’t want to know how awful they sounds. They try hard remembering player names… I mean, it’s a national TV. The biggest.
Anyway. It’s nice to see (yes i saw the goals through internet) Wayne Rooney’s goals keep rolling and new boy Berbatov also keep him in the score sheet. The nicest thing, despite rumors that he’s unhappy, was Carlos Tevez provide a pass to Rooney for our third goal. Tevez is God from Argentina.
So, we continue our unbeaten run in the Champions League to 16 games. However, like Sir Alex said, records are made to be broken. I just hope that when it comes the time, the timing is not that bad. In the meantime, of course we have a great chance to retain our European crown.
Come on you Reds.
Manchester United 4 : West Brom 0
match results October 19th, 2008
It was a stunning performance by the Champions but the goals were all came in the second half. Wayne Rooooooney keep his goal scoring flow, and his super low shot crashes the stubborn Baggies at the 56th minute. Ronaldo also register himself at the score line, then followed by new boy Berbatov. Nani closed the stunning score line with his injury time goal.
At the first half, I admit I was so nervous because even if the stats shown that we control most of the possession, seems like we just can’t find the way to the net. But before my thoughts brought to the ‘is this not our day s**t’, the lads shown their determination to keep on winning. Then soon after Wayne Rooney opened the score, we looked stronger and stronger.
The down side was, seems like we add another player to the injury list ahead of Champions League fixture against Celtic. Evra was substituted in the first half by O’Shea and seems like he wasn’t fine. I just hope all is well, because we need his energy and determination to help the team continue the winning run in all front.
All in all, this reds is loving his life this weekend. Now he needs some sleep, it’s 3 AM already here in Bali.
Thank you Manchester United!
Brilliant Goal
match results, video October 5th, 2008
Following ‘controversial’ goal by Wesley Brown, whom apparently had successfully pay our Boss’s trust to be a starter, Wayne Rooney smashed the ball so cool to make it 2-0 win against Paul Ince’s Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
Brilliant goal. Viva Wayne Rooney!
Viva Berbatov
match results, players October 1st, 2008
So Berbatov has open his account in his new club by scoring 2 goals in our 2nd Champions League fixture this season. The game at Aaborg’s home, Denmark, was rather a one side game rather than 2. Given the home side’s brilliant performance away at Celtic last week (or simply Celtic has been poor…) i must say i am proud with our performance.
Special note on the new boy Berbatov. After missing his golden chance to score his first goal in under 10 minutes of play, he seems like on his way to lose his confidence through all the game. However, the way he maximized the self error by Aarborg’s defense, he change his direction and rocketed to the moon. When he’s on the ball, i am always happy as i can’t predict where will he pass or move or what he is going to do with his position. It’s nice to see his trickeries in our side.
However, the cost of our win last night was big as we probably could lost Paul Scholes through ligament injury. We’ll need to wait and see as SAF’s midfiled man Hargreaves, Carrick and young Possebon still listed injured. Well, there’s always players like Fletcher and O Shea to fill the position not to forget young Brazillian Anderson
All in all it’s nice to see our team can play attacking football Manchester United way. Beware Blackburn Rovers!
Manchester United beat Bolton With The Help of Good Football
match results September 28th, 2008
It was our first win at home this season and we did it with style. Ronaldo put the ball behind stubborn Jaskelainen’s net followed by Wayne Rooney’s first goal of the season that set the match to home team win. We played well in the first half but better at the second. SAF has noted earlier that he will rotate his squad to conquer the hard long season. He did that yesterday by starting Rooney at the bench. However, after Wayne and Scholesy came in in the 70th minute, the game is better for the home side.
I can see a brilliant performance by the likes of Tevez, Park, Fletcher and Berbatov. And boy seeing Berbatov’s flick and tricks was just awesome (also, seeing his complaint to Ronaldo’s bad ball seems likely to improve the Portuguese’s and the whole team motivation this season). We just need to get better and better on every game.
However, given our brilliant performance, seems like the most likely haters happy to talk about is Ronaldo’s ‘cheat’ to get the penalty that might change the whole game. Well, listen to this you haters and news sellers; maybe it wasn’t a penalty after all, but 75% ball position could somehow mean that The Champions is back!
Come on you Reds.
Update: I think this one is a fair assessment of the game from StarSports.com.
