Another Weekday Ramblings

Here some news and cool ramblings that i found today in the world wide web related to Reds:

1. Manchester United could block Serbia from playing their defender Nemanja Vidic this weekend.

2. Manchester United has added The Children’s Society as one of its main national partners. The three-year agreement will see Manchester United raising money for the charity for underprivileged children through a number of planned projects including the charity’s forthcoming Hundreds and Thousands campaign.

3. Noted football guru Paddy Crerand has hailed left back Patrice Evra as the most outstanding performer of the current season for United, over favorites Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.

4. You could get your hands on a ball signed by Tevez, Rio and co. in our fantastic charity text auction. Seventeen players from Manchester United’s first team have signed the football, which is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the club’s charity department. All proceeds go to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

5. As one of the most popular English football teams in the world, selling tickets isn’t an issue for Manchester United. The problem was that season ticket holders weren’t renewing until a few games into the season, delaying cash flow. More here.
